Ascorbyl Palmitate – A stable form of vitamin C that prevents transepidermal water loss, stimulates the synthesis of skin lipids, moisturizes, reduces inflammation, and soothes redness after sun exposure.
Lactic Acid – Moisturizes the skin and normalizes the epidermal cell renewal process, which slows down with age. It also enhances the synthesis of glycosaminoglycans and collagen in the dermis.
Glycerin – A humectant that supports the skin’s natural protective barrier, has water-binding properties, and helps retain moisture.
Tocopherol – The primary physiological antioxidant of the human skin barrier. It reduces the formation of wrinkles caused by prolonged UV exposure, and acts as a moisturizing and softening agent.
Palm Glycerides – A component derived from the fatty acids of palm oil. Used in cosmetics as an emulsifier, antioxidant, and thickener. Softens the skin well, is natural, and non-allergenic.
