Glycolic acid – extracted from sugar cane, thanks to its low molecular weight, is able to penetrate all layers of the epidermis, up to the basement membrane, without disturbing the barrier functions of the epidermis and providing a multifunctional effect (exfoliation, rejuvenation, moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effects).
